ACADEMY OF STUDENTS OF PHARMACY
Promotes student involvement in issues affecting pharmacy, provides drug and health information to the public and encourages unity among pharmacy students and within the pharmacy profession.

ACCOUNTING CLUB
Explores the various areas of the accounting profession through speakers, videos and tours. Other activities include an annual field trip, accounting news updates and social activities for accounting and business students.

AGRIBUSINESS CLUB
Brings together people who have an interest in agricultural economics and/or marketing and supplements academic instruction through tours and guest speakers. Major activities include a banquet and National Marketing Competition.

AGRICULTURAL SYSTEMS MANAGEMENT CLUB
Provides an opportunity to attend local and regional meetings. Meetings include technical presentations, tours, business, socializing and restoration of antique farm machinery. Members have an interest in agricultural systems management or related agricultural areas.

AGRICULTURE AMBASSADORS
Ag Ambassadors are students who are selected to represent the College of Agriculture in student recruitment and at college-related events for alumni, scholarship donors, industry leaders and others. They also provide campus tours and serve as student advisors to the dean.

AGRONOMY CLUB
Agronomy Club brings together people who have an interest in the crop and weed science and soil science fields. Activities include touring agriculture businesses and participation in national events. This club promotes leadership and provides a positive atmosphere for ongoing agricultural education.

ALPHA EPSILON
A national honorary organization for students majoring in agricultural and biosystems engineering.

ALPHA GAMMA DELTA
AGD is an international social sorority for women promoting the high ideals of sisterhood, scholarship and leadership. AGD is involved in service projects in the community and fund raising for the Diabetes Foundation. Founded in 1904 at Syracuse University.

ALPHA GAMMA RHO
AGR is the only national professional and social agricultural fraternity at NDSU. Epsilon chapter at NDSU was established in 1913 and is for men involved in agriculture or pursuing a career in agriculture. Alpha Gamma Rho builds better men.

ALPHA OMEGA EPSILON
A national professional sorority for women in engineering and the technical fields. AOE promotes friendship, leadership and professionalism to all the members of the organization, the community and the profession.

ALPHA PHI OMEGA SERVICE FRATERNITY
Assembles college men and women in the fellowship of the principles of the Boy Scouts of America to develop leadership, promote friendship and provide service to humanity.

Alpha Pi Mu is an honorary organization for students in industrial engineering.

ALPHA TAU OMEGA
A national social fraternity for men with 160 chapters nationwide. Membership in Alpha Tau Omega involves leadership, brotherhood, social service and scholarship. Leaders shape the future and ATO shapes leaders for the future.

AMATEUR RADIO SOCIETY
Members share an interest in ham radios, electronics, world communication and other aspects of radio communication.

AMERICAN ASSOCIATION OF FAMILY AND CONSUMER SCHIENCE (AAFCS)
AAFCS is a service organization for students in the College of Human Development and Education. Members volunteer in areas that will contribute to professional development.

AMERICAN INSTITUTE OF ARCHITECTURE STUDENTS (AIAS)
Promotes excellence in architectural education and training and encourages the awareness and appreciation of architecture and its allied disciplines. AIAS supports a career dedication to improving the environment.

AMERICAN SOCIETY OF AGRICULTURAL ENGINEERS, Student Engineering Branch
Provides the opportunity for students interested in agricultural and biosystems engineering to attend local, regional and national professional meetings. Meetings include business, technical presentations, industrial tours, design contests and the opportunity for social activities.

AMERICAN SOCIETY OF CIVIL ENGINEERS
Helps students prepare and apply fundamental engineering practices for a future in a civil engineering career. Students can compete in activities such as the Steel Bridge Team, Concrete Canoe Team, plus participate in professional and social activities.

AMERICAN SOCIETY OF HEALTH-SYSTEM PHARMACISTS
Educates students about pharmacy practice in health systems and provides information to students about career directions in and credentials needed for pharmacy practice in health systems. This organization promotes active membership and networking opportunities among students and the pharmacy profession.

AMERICAN SOCIETY OF INTERIOR DESIGNERS (ASID)
ASID broadens the student's knowledge base of the design industry and related fields. ASID is a student branch of the national organization for professionals.

AMERICAN SOCIETY OF LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTS
Promotes and facilitates intellectual pursuits and fellowship in the field of landscape architecture among students, faculty and landscape architecture professionals.

AMERICAN SOCIETY OF MECHANICAL ENGINEERING (ASME)
ASME is comprised of mechanical engineering students. Activities throughout the year include: monthly business meetings, industry field trips, rat trap car race, E&A (Engineering & Agriculture) Day egg toss, thermo boat race and social functions.

ANIME CLUB
The Anime Club promotes and presents Japanese animation (Anime) as an art form. Meetings provide a friendly social environment for those students, faculty and staff interested in the Japanese culture. Come and enjoy a relaxing evening of animated.

ASIAN STUDENT ASSOCIATION (Vietnamese Student Association)
Promotes the Vietnamese culture, promotes friendship and goodwill, provides assistance to all students and seeks deeper mutual understanding of different cultures and people through various social activities.

ASSOCIATED GENERAL CONTRACTORS (AGC)
The Associated General Contractors acquaints students with the construction industry. Chapter activities include monthly meetings, guest speakers, field trips, intramural sports, state, regional and national conferences and national competitions.

ASSOCIATION FOR COMPUTING MACHINERY (ACM)
Members share an interest in computers and in a computer society.

ASSOCIATION OF STUDENTS FROM INDIA
Association of Students form Indian promotes friendship and cultural exchange between the students from India, students from other nationalities and the community. A variety of activities are planned and assistance is provided to incoming students from India.

BARNSTORMERS FLYING CLUB
Comprised of students interested in flying and aviation as a sport or a hobby. Activities include meetings, small airplane flights, tours and a chance to explore ones interest in aviation with others. Pilots and non-pilots welcome.

BIO-ENGINEERING SOCIETY
Subsection of Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers. Promotes engineering in medicine and biology through knowledge of current developments in the field.

BIOTECHNOLOGY CLUB
Student chapter of the American Society for Microbiology. Open to students and faculty interested in learning more about the emerging biotechnology field as well as anyone with an interest in biotechnology. This energetic club organizes activities including speakers, job information and tours of biotech companies.

BISON AMBASSADORS
A specially selected group of outstanding students serve as representatives for many university activities and alumni functions. They conduct campus tours, sponsor the annual Apple Polisher and Senior Day, greet at alumni events and hold a tuition raffle.

BISON BOWHUNTER ARCHERY CLUB
A club designed for beginning and experienced archers where they can be involved on campus while enjoying the sport of archery.

BISON DAIRY CLUB
The Bison Dairy Club actively promotes interest in the dairy industry and the College of Agriculture at NDSU. The club's mission is to provide members with educational and recreational opportunities to learn about the future of and placement in the dairy industry.

BISON DANCE TEAM
A competitive team with a season from October to March. The Team attends every home basketball game and several other shows and competitions. Promotes and encourages school spirit at athletic and university events

BISON OLYMPIC DEVELOPMENT WRESTLING CLUB
This Wrestling Club provides students interested in freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling an opportunity to learn and enhance skills.

BISON ULTIMATE
A co-ed club promoting Ultimate frisbee, a non-contact, high speed, team sport combining the rules of soccer, basketball and football. No experience necessary to participate. Bison Ultimate plays several times a week.

BLACK STUDENT ALLIANCE
We promote social and educational awareness for NDSU students through cultural & social events focusing on African-American and African cultures. All NDSU students are welcome. Please come and enjoy. We look forward to your participation.

BLUE KEY NATIONAL HONOR FRATERNITY
A national honor fraternity recognizing leadership, scholarship and service. The motto is Serving I Live. Blue Key awards the Distinguished Educator and Doctor of Service Awards, as well as several student scholarships each year. They also produce the annual Homecoming Variety Show and Bison Brevities (talent show).

BOARD OF CAMPUS ATTRACTIONS
This board provides support and guidance to operational aspects of Campus Attractions. Membership includes one student elected in the spring elections, two appointed by Student Government, one student senator, one student appointed by the Campus Attractions president, faculty and staff representatives. BOARD OF STUDENT PUBLICATIONS
The board, made up of professional and student members, provides leadership and direction for student publications on campus. They work to maintain consistency and responsibility in student publications and they recruit and appoint editors-in-chief for all student activity fee funded publications. Two student representatives are elected and three more are appointed. Contact Student Government, Memorial Union 347, 231- 8461.

BOWLING CLUB
Bowling Club promotes the sport of bowling through its activities. Intercollegiate competition is provided for men and women.

CAMPUS ATTRACTIONS

CAMPUS CRUSADE FOR CHRIST
An interdenominational Christian student organization desiring to help students develop in all areas of life...spiritual, intellectual, social and as leaders. We also seek to be a positive influence for Christ in the lives of those around us.

CAMPUS RECREATION
The Bison Sports Arenas provides students an opportunity to choose from a wide array of recreational activities. Facilities include: 6000sq. ft. weight room with both free & circuit weights, 15 pieces of cardiovascular equipment, swimming pool, racquetball courts, 8-lane track, and 3 basketball courts.

CERES WOMEN'S FRATERNITY
An international social fraternity for women with an agricultural interest. Ceres is committed to providing opportunities for personal growth in leadership, academics and fellowship. Ceres is a part of the Greek system. All majors welcome.

CHEMISTRY CLUB
Comprised of students interested in the practical applications of chemistry in today's society. Emphasis on careers in fields related to chemistry. Projects and activities include community outreach, guest speakers and field trips. Anyone with an interest in chemistry is invited to join.

CHI ALPHA CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP
Promotes the spiritual and social life of the students of NDSU by providing opportunities for Christian worship, fellowship, training, and evangelism.

CHILD DEVELOPMENT AND FAMILY SCIENCE CLUB
Promoting educational and professional development among students-regardless of major-through community service, professional conferences, field trips and guest speakers.Provides social contacts among students and faculty to develop a support system.

CHINESE STUDENT ASSOCIATION (CSA)
Promotes friendship and provides assistance to students who come from Taiwan . CSA provides information and assistance to those who are interested in Chinese and Taiwan culture and customs. Activities are planned to promote fellowship.

CHRISTIAN CONQUEST STUDENT FELLOWSHIP
The focus is on learning and applying the Bible to every aspect of life. We sponsor seminars on Creation-Evolution, Bible Prophecy, The authenticity of the bible and much more. Friday night activities include bowling, basketball, board games, etc. Students from all religious backgrounds are welcome.

CIRCLE K
A service organization sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Fargo . Emphasis is placed on having fun while providing service to the Fargo-Moorhead area and the NDSU campus. Conventions are held yearly to provide growth and leadership opportunities for members.

COAR (CONFERENCE, ORIENTATION, & RECRUITMENT) TEAM
The COAR Team consists of members who will serve as leaders, facilitators, and mentors during summer orientation and various summer conferences and camps. Members will begin building relationships with prospective students and new freshman.

COLLEGE BOWL - program

COLLEGE DEMOCRATS
Sponsors informational forums, speakers and debates pertinent to issues of the day. Participates in the Democratic NPL of North Dakota and College Democrats of America.

COLLEGE OF AGRICULTURAL COMMISSION

COLLEGE OF AGRICULTURE STUDENT ACTIVITIES COUNCIL (CASAC)
CASAC coordinates all activities within the college and works closely with the dean's office. CASAC sponsors an ice cream social, Ag Spirit Day, Ag Ambassadors, and the Preferred Ag Instructor and is the governing board over all agricultural student organizations.

COLLEGE OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION STUDENT ADVISORY COUNCIL
The council advises the dean on matters concerning undergraduate academic programs, college-related activities, and nominates business majors to serve on college committees. COLLEGE OF HUMAN DEVELOPMENT AND EDUCATION DEAN'S STUDENT ADVISORY COUNCIL
Promoting the College of Human Development and Education, the Dean's Student Advisory Council serves as a liaison for College of Human Development and Education students, faculty and administration.

COLLEGE REPUBLICANS
Interacts with local and state public officials to learn about candidacy and policy. Members meet with students around North Dakota to discuss current events.

COLLEGIANS FOR LIFE
Dedicated to defending and promoting a greater respect for the sanctity of all human life (born and unborn) by educating and activating peers and community.

COLLEGIATE 4-H
Collegiate 4-H provides members with an identity on campus, enriches campus life and develops confidence and leadership skills. Collegiate 4-H is open to all college students who are interested in 4-H.

COLLEGIATE FFA
Brings together students with an interest in agriculture. Major activities include crops contest, small animal and ag sales in conjunction with Little I, annual picnic and activities during FFA week.

COMMUNICATION RESEARCH ASSOCIATION

CONCERT CHOIR - academic opportunity
Consisting of music and non-music majors, the Concert Choir performs at NDSU and is known for its concert tours in the region and overseas, its recordings and its performances with area symphony orchestras. Auditions are required.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE CLUB
Introduces career options in the area of criminal justice through guest speakers, field trips and meetings.

CROSS COUNTRY SKI CLUB
Promotes the sport of cross country skiing. Skiers of all ability and interest levels are welcome. This club participates in several public races throughout the winter. Meetings are held weekly and all members determine the frequency and length of workouts.

CYCLING CLUB
Promotes the sport of competitive cycling (mountain and road) and fosters the high ideals of sportspersonship, dedication and mental discipline through intercollegiate competition while emphasizing team tactics and camaraderie.

DAKOTA DIPLOMATS
Promotes friendship and provides an avenue for exchange for those individuals who have traveled abroad or have an interest in doing so.

DAKOTA JAZZ - academic opportunity
Performing several times a year, Dakota Jazz is a vocal jazz ensemble supported by a rhythm section. The group's repertoire consists of traditional jazz arrangements as well as contemporary charts. Auditions are required.

DELTA UPSILON
A national social fraternity for men, based on a no-secrets, no-hazing policy. The Delta and the Upsilon are the initials for the motto, Justice, Our Foundation.

DUAL TEN PERCENT SOCIETY
Provides social activities, support, and education to lesbian, gay, straight, transgender students, faculty and staff and straight allies.

EGYPTIAN STUDENT ASSOCIATION IN NORTH DAKOTA
The Egyptian Student Assocation of North Dakota State University is an academic social student unit. It represents students who have interest in Egypt and Egyptian history.

ENGINEERING AND ARCHITECTURE COUNCIL
Engineering and Architecture council acts as a sounding board to improve communication between the faculty and students in the College of Engineering and Architecture.

ENGLISH CLUB
An organization that promotes the appreciation of and exposure to literature. Annually, the club sponsors a number of literature readings and publishes Carbon World, an NDSU literary journal. Anyone interested in creating, evaluating, or publishing literature is encouraged to join.

ENTOMOLOGY CLUB
The goals of Entomology Club are to have fun doing several activities per month, educate people about science and especially insects, and to try new things. Have you ever eaten roasted crickets or mealworm lollipops?

FARGO-MOORHEAD CHINESE CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP

FARMHOUSE
An international social fraternity that builds men physically, intellectually, morally, spiritually and socially. Striving for excellence, especially in scholarship, FarmHouse members have the opportunity to develop leadership skills, which will help in college and throughout life.

FASHION APPAREL BUSINESS ORGANIZATION (FABO)
FABO is composed of members who have an interest in design, fashion and business. Its purpose is to give students an overview of careers and opportunities through networking and numerous activities and field trips.

FELLOWSHIP OF CHRISTIAN ATHLETES (FCA)
All students are welcome to enjoy praise, worship and Christian fellowship at FCA. Members get together on a weekly basis to grow closer to Jesus Christ.

FIT FOR LIFE
Initiates professional growth and career preparation, promotes relationships between students and faculty, encourages leadership and promotes fitness. The only student organization for corporate and community fitness, athletic training, physical education and recreation majors, although any student may join.

FOOD SCIENCE CLUB
Promotes and develops the interests and abilities of people in the food and fiber industry. Any student of good scholarship and an active interest in the food industry is welcome.

FRENCH CLUB
Bonjour! We are a multicultural organization focusing on social and educational activities relating to francophone culture. Everyone is welcome, regardless of the language they speak. Join us to experince French food, culture, trips,and discussion groups.

GEOLOGY CLUB
Comprised of students interested in geology and related fields. Projects and activities include field trips, campus activities and community outreach. Students of any major are invited to attend.

GOLDEN KEY INTERNATIONAL HONOUR SOCIETY
A International honor society with excellent opportunities for leadership, service, scholarships and career assistance. All juniors and seniors in the top 15 percent of their class are eligible to join.

GUITAR CLUB
This club is open to anyone interested in beginning or furthering their guitar playing skills. The group meets once a week to share tips and learn new songs. Music styles vary widely depending on member s preferences.

HABITAT FOR HUMANITY-NDSU Chapter
Involved in building or rehabilitating houses, educating the campus and Fargo-Moorhead community about the need for affordable housing and raising funds for the work of Habitat. The group plans an alternative Spring Break trip to construct or repair a home in another area of the country.

HALL GOVERNMENT
Each residence hall has a governing body, which consists of residents from their respective hall. Activities include social programming, appropriation of hall funds and addressing the concerns of the students within their hall. Contact your Resident Assistant or Hall Director.

HILLEL
Hillel, the Jewish Student Organization at North Dakota State University , provides a warm environment where Jewish Students from all backgrounds can meet each other, explore their Jewish identity and celebrate Jewish life.

HOMECOMING COMMITTEE
Plans the week s activities ( October 14-20, 2001) in an effort to carry on important Bison traditions. Volunteers are needed on the following committees: spirit, special events, parade, bonfire, finance, marketing and publicity. HORTICULTURE AND FORESTY CLUB
Organization for any student interested in horticulture. Gives students hands-on experience while working with fellow students and faculty. The club meets approximately once a month for activities and meetings.

HUGH O'BRIAN LEADERSHIP CLUB (HOBY)
A leadership club open to all HOBY alumni and anyone interested in becoming involved with HOBY. This club is dedicated to public service and leadership development in the Fargo-Moorhead area.

INSTITUTE OF ELECTRICAL ELECTRONICS ENGINEERING (IEEE)
Student chapter of the world's largest technical professional society. Members meet with speakers from industry and tour engineering facilities. Geared towards making students more than just textbook engineers.

INSTITUTE OF INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERS (IIE)
Explores engineering opportunities in health care, manufacturing, information services, and enterprise integration industries through its monthly meetings, field trips, & frequent team building activitites. Anyone interested is welcome to visit before joining. See the IME department for information.

INSTITUTE OF TRANSPORTATION ENGINEERS (ITE)
ITE is a professional society of more than 9,600 transportation engineers and planners in more than 70 different countries. The goal of ITE is to introduce students to the transportation profession and to supplement their classroom and laboratory experiences with "real world" activities.

INTERFRATERNITY COUNCIL (IFC)
IFC serves as the governing board, works to advance the interests of, and promotes an understanding and spirit among the fraternities of NDSU. IFC sponsors and organizes events such as Rush, Greek Week, and the Greek new member retreat.

INTERNATIONAL FACILITY MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATION (IFMA)
Provides an awareness of the opportunities in the field, makes employers aware of graduates and explores educational topics.

INTERNATIONAL FOOD SERVICE EXECUTIVE ASSOCIATION (IFSEA)
Internationally recognized organization for people who are in hospitality or food service related careers or are enrolled in a food service curriculum. Students attend regional and national food shows, career fairs and educational seminars.

INTERNATIONAL STUDENT ADVISORY BOARD
Representatives from each international student organization and others make up this board that advises the Office of International Programs.

INTERNATIONAL STUDENT ASSOCAITON
Promotes friendship and community at NDSU through social and cultural activities. Membership is open to NDSU students from around the world, including the U.S.

INTERNET RADIO BROADCASTING
The Internet Radio Broadcasting Club provides NDSU students with hands-on experience and skill development in audio production, live music programs, sports play-by-play broadcasts, radio news, live remote event hosting, and management.

INTERVARSITY CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP (IVCF)
IVCF seeks to establish and advance witnessing communities of students and faculty who follow Jesus as Savior and Lord, growing in love for God, God s Word, God s people of every ethnicity and culture, and God s purposes in the world.

INTRAMURAL SPORTS
Men s, women s and co-ed intramurals are offered in 10 sports. This is a chance for those students who still want to compete in a sport while having a fun and enjoyable time.

JAZZ ENSEMBLE - academic opportunity
This band consists of undergraduate and graduate students who demonstrate a strong interest and ability in jazz music. Auditions are required.

JUDGING CLUB
Students take classes in livestock, meats, dairy and wool selection and compete nationally in judging contests.

JUDO CLUB
Judo Club allows students to participate and enjoy physical exercise in practicing judo and promotes spiritual and intellectual growth through the sport.

JUGGLING CLUB
Juggling Club meets weekly and is free and open to all. Members learn about everything from basic to advanced juggling, balloon animals, unicycling and many other skills. All of these skills are put together for performances throughout the year.

KAPPA ALPHA THETA
Kappa Alpha Theta is the first Greek-letter fraternity for women with 124 chapters throughout the United States and Canada . Theta encourages its members to develop intellectually, socially and morally. Membership emphasizes participation in leadership, scholarship and community service activities.

KAPPA DELTA
The oldest national social sorority for women at NDSU, Kappa Delta stresses strong sisterhood, high scholarship, and leadership on campus and throughout the community. Kappa Delta is involved in numerous service projects and focuses on the prevention of child abuse with the Shamrock Event.

KAPPA EPSILON
A professional fraternity open to men and women who are working together to promote women in pharmacy. The philanthropies include Breast Cancer Awareness and the Caring Program for Children. KE is Your Prescription for a Better Future.

A professional fraternity for male and female pre-pharmacy and professional pharmacy students. Kappa Psi is dedicated to promoting professional and academic excellence in the profession of pharmacy.

KARATE CLUB
Open to all that wish to learn and practice shotokan Karate. Through workouts and physical training members can advance in club activities: basics, sparring, forms, and self-defense. There are opportunities for tournament and seminar participation for members.

LEADERS SEMINAR
The seven-week Leaders Seminar is offered to beginning and advanced leaders each semester. A variety of speakers address individual leadership and organizational management topics, such as leadership styles, communication, ethics, power, motivation and more. LIBRA HONOR SOCIETY
A community and campus service organization for sophomores. Members are selected in the spring, primarily on the basis of scholarship.

LINCOLN SPEECH AND DEBATE SOCIETY

The Native American Student Association (NASA) is made up of NDSU students interested in the American Indian culture. Phi Lambda Sigma, the National Pharmacy Leadership Society, was initiated at NDSU in 1991. GRIA serves as a liaison with city, state and federal governments and provides a lobbyist during the state legislative sessions to represent student concerns. Student Court
interprets the constitution of the North Dakota State University student body and runs Student Government elections. The chief justice and four associate justices, appointed by the student body president, make up the Student Court.

Student Senate consists of 29 senators representing each college and residential district. Student Senate initiates discussion and action on student issues, encourages cooperation between students, faculty and administration, and interacts with other campus governing bodies. W.A.V.E.S. is committed to adventures in the great outdoors with friends who have various levels of outdoor experience. Participants also believe in giving back to the community through volunteer work. Adventures include camping, biking, canoeing, hiking, and rock climbing.

WILDLIFE SOCIETY
Presents speakers and participates in volunteer and educational activities to help its members learn more about wildlife and wildlife preservation. Members also gain awareness of employment prospects and issues related to wildlife.

YMCA of NDSU - program
The YMCA of NDSU provides additional educational programs for NDSU students, faculty and staff. It coordinates and sponsors programs such as Brown Bag Seminars and AIDS Awareness held at the Memorial Union. Programs and FREE and open to everyone.
