Barnesville Potato Days - August

This unique, family-oriented event annually attracts nearly 15,000 from across the region and from 36 states across the nation. Anything you can possibly do with a potato will be done; including picking and peeling, carving and cooking; sacking and sculpting. Call the spudline for more info.

German Folk Festival

Bring your lawn chair and enjoy listening to a show band from Germany along with other regional German bands. There will be authentic German food, children's activities and workshops. Admission is free to the park.

Island Park Show

This is a 200 booth juried art and craft show held annually under the shade trees in Fargo's Oldest Park. There is concessions, free entertainment, and free admission.

Jazzin' June

Midwest Kid Fest

Kick off summer fun at this one-day festival in Island Park. The event features continuous stage entertainment by and for children, fun activities and fabulous food. Play games, sing, dance, do arts and crafts and participate at interactive booths hosted by local organizations that serve children. The event is sponsored by Ronald McDonald charities.

MSUM 4th Of July Celebration
Minnesota State University Campus - Moorhead

Food and fun for everyone including barrel rides, covered wagon and stagecoach rides. The 10 K run beginning at 8:00a.m, a kid's race begins at 11:00a.m. at Nemzek Stadium. One of the biggest fireworks shows ever, starting approximately 10:30p.m

Pioneer Days

The 33rd Annual celebration of pioneer life features pioneer demonstrations of craft and ethnic foods, Model T rides, stage coach rides, treats, music, movies, dancing and stage entertainment. Life in the Past Lanes for the entire family.

River Splash is a community festival which showcases the many activities that could occur along the Red River. It draws thousands of people of all ages to the banks of the River. The festival features a canoe race, Family Funland and a variety of other events and food.

Scandinavian Hjemkomst Festival

Featuring authentic Scandinavian and Scandinavian-American ethnic entertainment, music and folk dancing, a marketplace, foods, exhibitions, demonstrations of arts, crafts and ethnic traditions with activities for all ages. For three days we have great country music featuring Nashville's brightest stars, and four days of camping at We Fest. With a natural amphitheater that holds up to 50,000 people, including one of the biggest stages in North America, the Soo Pass Ranch is one of the finest outdoor concert.
